It is reported that more than 100 of the 304 stands at the Vaal de Grace Golf Estate currently being developed 2km west of Parys have already been sold. Set on Nick Price's first signature golf course in South Africa, the sustained demand could mean that the estate would be sold out before the end of the year.
Apart from also being a nature and game reserve, the 110ha island is surrounded by numerous activities within a comfortable radius, such as whitewater rafting, kayaking, hiking, cycling, mountain biking, quad bike trails, 4X4 routes, the Vaal Meander, an art ramble, game farms and an airfield.
